EIU M601
In this application the EIU will collect all engine parameters of the Walter/GE M601 turboprop engine plus general fuel and electrical parameters found on most aircraft airframes.
The gathered information is made avaiable to 3rd party display(s) and/or to our VRX system in order to realize fast and accurate engine, fuel and electrical gauges in the cock-pit.
Features
- Measures ITT, Torque, N1, N2, Oil-temperature and pressure, fuel-pressure, fuel-flow, bus voltage and current, outside air-temperature and fuel-tank levels (up to 4 tanks).
- Senses discreet inputs for ISOL, BETA, forward and aft chip-detects, EHT, with 3 spares that may be used for hydraulic pump, generator fail, and low oil-pressure.
- Provide real-time data for 3rd party displays such as Aerosonic's EFIS system and Vertical Power's VP-200 system.
- System growth (expansion) options include our VRX and VR3 system(s) for the M601 described below.
VRX Integration
Incorporate the EIU into a VRX system which consists of at least one of our VRD-10 display(s) and you will obtain access to the real-time measurements and capabilities of not only the EIU, but of any other VR Avionics LRU (TSLM, FSM, PDC, GC3, etc.) that is part of your installation.
Adding a second (or third) display gives the pilot instant access to more measurements at a glance, but also adds redundancy since one display is all you require to access all measurements and capablities.
- Presents color-graphical engine gauges showing ITT, N1, N2, torque, oil-pressure & temperature, and fuel gauges indicating fuel pressure & flow-rate (GPH) as well as fuel levels of up to 4 fuel tanks plus all other measurements made by the EIU M601.
- Provides a fuel-computer that presents fuel remaining, used & endurance (hours-to-empty).
- Presents annunciation lights for BETA, EHT, ISOL, FWD-CHIP, AFT-CHIP, etc.
- Allows easy updates and retrieval of recorded data through a front-loading USB memory stick slot.
- The VRD-10 display fits neatly in the standard 3.125" instrument format (from the front), and two displays side-by-side fit the width of a radio-rack.
VR3 Integration
Incorporate the EIU into a VR3 system which consists of at least one of our VR-3PD display(s) and you will obtain access to the real-time measurements and capabilities of not only the EIU, but of the TSLM if it is part of your installation.
Adding a second (or third) display gives the pilot instant access to more measurements at a glance, but also adds redundancy since one display is all you require to access all measurements and capablities.
- Presents fast and accurate real-time engine (and other) parameters in a clear digital format.
- Allows for easy access of various pages and menus through the display's left-right toggle switch.
- Presents ITT, N1, N2, Torque, oil-pressure and bus voltage (or oil-temperature) on the main page.
- Presents fuel flow, fuel used, fuel remaining, endurance, fuel-pressure, OAT, bus voltage and current as well as fuel levels/quantities of up to 4 tanks on adjacent pages.
- Allows the setting of fuel-remaining as well as the performing of diagnostic tests through the display.
- The VR-3PD display fits the standard 3.125" instrument format.
